Thank you to a colleague who responded to the last newsletter with the following: When following the fitness, dietary, sleep recommendations my own experiences reinforce the wisdom of the guidelines. Why then, when bereavements, accidents, life events take place and routines evaporate does it take so long to reinstate the positive habits of resilience? Is there some inevitable weight of inertia, or weight of years of life spent outside of the habits that make the effort to return to the positive habits so difficult.
